The Loop Formation Process of Grooved Needle Warp Knitting Machine
1.Clearing (Knock-Over)
The grooved needle rises from its lowest position, causing the old loop to slide downward from the needle hook. Since the needle rises faster than the needle core, the originally closed needle core gradually opens while retracting, allowing the old loop to slide onto the needle shaft.
2. Yarn Laying (Lapping)
The guide bar positions the warp yarn into the needle hook.
3. Closing (Needle Closing)
The grooved needle descends, and the needle core also moves downward. However, the needle descends faster than the core, causing the needle core to gradually extend from the needle groove until the hook is fully closed.
4.Landing & Casting (Overlap & Underlap)
The needle and needle core continue descending, initiating the connection between the old loop and the new loop (the old loop begins to overlap the new loop).
5.Knock-Over (Loop Shedding)
When the needle head drops below the sinker belly, the old loop is cast off from the needle head. At this point, the new loop becomes the old loop for the next cycle.
6.Loop Formation (Stitch Setting)
The grooved needle reaches its lowest position, and the loop's shape and size are essentially formed.
7.Take-Down (Fabric Withdrawal)
The sinker moves forward, gripping the newly cast-off loop with its throat and pulling it toward the needle back, preparing for the next clearing motion.
